WHOLE FOOD

A whole food is minimally processed and contains all three macro nutrients – carbohydrate, fat and protein.

PLANT-BASED

Just as mother nature intended. Either a fruit, vegetable, legume, nut or seed.

Gluten is found in many foods and is the primary cause of leaky gut, which leads to inflammation.

OIL FREE

All oils, even olive oil, are highly processed and not considered whole food. They are essentially just fat and calories.

MINDSET

Our mindset lays the foundation of how we feel, what we believe we can achieve and how we act in everyday life. It plays an integral part in determining our overall health outcome. Checking in with ourselves and creating awareness of our stress levels, anxiety, and overwhelm daily, is paramount for good mental health. The food we eat directly impacts our emotions, so it’s important to understand our current food habits so we can ultimately become the change we want to see.

MOVEMENT

Moving our bodies has many health benefits. It helps lift our mood, improves our sleep, stimulates our lymphatic system so we can eliminate toxins and has a powerful effect on all our body systems. The first step is to choose the movement that works for you and consistently incorporate it into your life.

SLEEP

Research shows that you need between 7-8 hours of good quality sleep per night for optimal health. There are many factors that can interrupt our sleep patterns, so it’s important to gain awareness of what these triggers are for you. Our Daily Detox blend helps you sleep more soundly, especially when taken after dinner or before bed.

MINDFULNESS

The practice of mindfulness daily helps quieten our minds and bring stillness to our very busy lives. Research shows that if we find time to be in nature, or engage in activities that bring us joy, this supports our body’s ability to decrease inflammation and lengthen our telomeres, which ultimately means we live a longer happier life.

HYDRATION

We recommend a minimum of 8 glasses of water per day and if you need to hold yourself accountable, track them as you go through your day. It’s one of the simplest things you can do to improve your overall health and yet the hardest thing for many.

‘Knowledge is power’! The more you learn how the food you eat can heal or harm your body, the easier it is to make good food choices.

MOTHER NATURE

We mentioned above that The Flourish Way is about eating whole food.  However, sometimes it may not be possible, as in the case of a sauce or gluten-free pasta, but whenever possible we want you to eat food as it is provided by mother nature.

NUTRIENT DENSITY

The more diverse your whole food and nutrient intake, the happier your GUT will be. We recommend eating 28 different fruits and vegetables per day. This may seem impossible to you but using the same fruit or vegetable in a different colour counts as a different intake.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much does the food cost?

Depending on where you buy your fruits and vegetables will alter the cost. There will be many pantry items that you may already have and you can purchase as you go or buy everything you need week by week if you have the fridge storage.

How do I know it’s for me?

If you are prepared to commit to the 21 days and follow the plan as much as possible. You can switch up meals within the plan but it has been designed to take you through three stages so you can rest, re-seed and rebuild from the inside out.

Will I get a headache?

If you eat sugar and drink caffeine, yes you will as this cleanse will detox your system. It’s an individual-by-individual case but we find that most people stop having headaches between days 5-7.

How much do I have to participate?

It’s totally up to you. You can choose to do the cleanse on your own or you can join in the conversations happening in the Facebook Support Group or on our live Q&A Weekly Zoom Calls.

When can I get started?

Right away or you can join us for the live round beginning on the 7th March 2022. You can also begin even if you haven’t received your supplements yet and begin taking them when they arrive.

Does my location matter?

No, this program is online so anyone can do it from all over the world. We ship internationally but with additional shipping charges which we can give you a quote if interested.

What if I’m on medication?

You can reach out to Kathy at kathy@flourishln.com.au and she will let you know whether this cleanse will affect your medication. If you have pre-existing health issues you can book in for a consultation for $220 which will happen over Zoom.

Why can’t I use Olive Oil?

Just because oils have the word, olive or coconut in front of them, doesn’t make them whole foods. You can’t turn the tap on an olive tree and get olive oil, it’s still processed!  Oils are calorie rich and processed (C.R.A.P!), they take oxygen out of blood and make it sludge. Oils also inhibit nitric oxide which can cause damage the walls of our arteries and harden them over time.
